Many clients say treatments can feel similar to a warm rubber band snapping against skin. The treatment is tolerated well with little to no discomfort. To enhance comfort and safety throughout the treatment, a cooled treatment tip will be in contact with the skin throughout the session, to avoid any blistering or damage to the skin.

Treatment time varies based on the area of treatment. Most treatments are scheduled for an hour.

Most patients require one to three treatment sessions. The number of treatments will vary based on your concern. We will provide a customized treatment plan during your complimentary consultation.

Typically, you can return to your normal activities immediately following the treatment. However, it is recommended that you avoid vigorous activities such as strenuous exercise for the first 24 hours after treatment. The use of sunscreen is recommended on any treated areas exposed to the sun. Redness around treatment area is often expected following the treatment and will resolve within a few days. You may begin to see signs of improvement in as early as two weeks. If the veins reappear, you may need to have a follow-up treatment to eliminate them for good.

Although many patients report few if any side effects, those most commonly noticed are slight reddening and local swelling of the skin. These effects typically last for less than 24 hours.
